General & Scheduling

What areas do you serve?

We serve homeowners and light commercial properties across Sonoma, Marin, and Napa Counties — including Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Windsor, Healdsburg, Novato, San Rafael, and surrounding North Bay communities.

How do I schedule service?

Request service online or call (707) 795-7219. We confirm your appointment window and notify you when your technician is on the way.

What are your business hours?

Our office is open Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. For urgent heating or cooling issues outside those hours, call us — we prioritize emergencies based on technician availability.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Enviro Heating & Air Conditioning is a licensed and insured California HVAC contractor. Our technicians are trained for safe residential and light commercial work.

Do you offer emergency HVAC service?

When your system fails during a heat wave or cold snap, call us right away. We treat no-heat and no-cool situations as urgent and schedule them ahead of routine tune-ups when possible.

What should I expect when a technician arrives?

Your technician will introduce themselves, protect your home with drop cloths where needed, diagnose the issue, and explain findings before recommending repairs. We believe in upfront communication — no surprise work without your approval.

Do you service Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park?

Yes — Rohnert Park is home to our shop, and we regularly serve Santa Rosa, Cotati, Sebastopol, and nearby neighborhoods.

Do you work in Marin County?

Yes. We serve Marin County communities including San Rafael, Novato, Mill Valley, and surrounding areas. Travel times may affect same-day availability — call for the soonest opening.

Do you service Napa County?

Yes. We provide heating and air conditioning repair, maintenance, and installation throughout Napa County and the wider North Bay.

Do you handle light commercial HVAC?

We work with many small offices, retail spaces, and mixed-use properties. Describe your equipment and location when you call so we can send the right technician and tools.

Maintenance & Plans

View page
Why is annual HVAC maintenance important in the North Bay?

Coastal moisture, pollen, and temperature swings stress filters, coils, and moving parts. Annual tune-ups improve efficiency, reduce breakdowns during peak summer and winter, and help protect manufacturer warranties.

What is included in a maintenance visit?

Visits typically include a full system inspection, cleaning accessible components, checking electrical connections, verifying refrigerant or combustion performance, testing safety controls, and confirming the system is ready for the upcoming season.

How often should I change my air filter?

Most homes need a new filter every 1–3 months, depending on pets, allergies, and system type. A clogged filter restricts airflow, increases energy bills, and can cause frozen coils or overheating.

What are the benefits of an Enviro maintenance plan?

Members receive priority scheduling during busy seasons, discounted parts, a complimentary annual diagnostic, and peace of mind that your system is checked before you need it most. See our maintenance plans page for current tiers.

Can maintenance prevent costly repairs?

Many expensive failures start as small issues — worn capacitors, dirty coils, or failing motors. Catching them early during a tune-up often costs far less than an emergency weekend call.

Repairs, Installation & Equipment

View page
How do you diagnose HVAC problems?

We test the system systematically — airflow, temperatures, electrical readings, and safety controls — then explain what failed and why. You receive clear repair options before we proceed.

Should I repair or replace my aging system?

We consider equipment age, repair cost, efficiency, comfort issues, and refrigerant type. If repairs approach a significant fraction of replacement cost, we will walk you through new equipment options sized for your home.

Do you install furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps?

Yes. We install high-efficiency furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits. Every installation is sized for your home's layout and comfort goals.

Do you work on ductless mini-split systems?

Yes — we service and install ductless systems ideal for additions, older homes without ductwork, and zone-by-room comfort.

Are heat pumps a good fit for North Bay homes?

Modern heat pumps perform well in our climate and can deliver efficient heating and cooling in one system. We help you compare heat pump options against traditional gas furnace and AC pairings.

Do you offer warranties on installations?

New equipment includes manufacturer warranties, and we stand behind our installation workmanship. Your proposal will spell out warranty terms for parts and labor.

Indoor Air Quality & Comfort

Why are some rooms hotter or colder than others?

Uneven comfort often comes from duct leaks, poor insulation, undersized equipment, or blocked vents. We can evaluate airflow and zoning options to balance temperatures throughout your home.

Can you help with allergies or dusty air?

We can recommend upgraded filtration, duct sealing, and humidity strategies based on your system. Regular maintenance and filter changes are the first step toward cleaner indoor air.

What thermostat should I use?

Programmable and smart thermostats save energy when set up correctly. We install and configure thermostats compatible with your equipment, including many Wi‑Fi models.

Pricing, Financing & Promotions

View page
Do you provide upfront pricing?

For repairs, we diagnose first and present approved pricing before work begins. Installations include a written proposal with equipment, labor, and applicable rebates or incentives explained.

Do you offer financing for new equipment?

Yes. Flexible financing helps spread the cost of a new system into manageable monthly payments. Visit our financing page or ask your comfort advisor for current programs.

Are there rebates for high-efficiency equipment?

Utility and manufacturer rebates change throughout the year. When you request a replacement quote, we will highlight programs you may qualify for at the time of installation.

How do I use a promotion or special offer?

Mention the offer when scheduling. If a promo code appears on our promotions page, include it in your request so we can apply eligible savings to your invoice.
